I offer HIPAA compliant online video counseling!

If you are interested in online video counseling, please notify me via phone or email at least 24hrs prior to the appointment time.

You will receive a phone call from me at/around the scheduled appointment time.
You will access the link to the online session either through email on your desktop/laptop or text message to your smart phone.
A. If you are accessing the link via email from your desktop/laptop, Click on the appropriate link “join the session now via PC/MAC.”

B. If you are accessing the link via email from your smartphone, Click on the appropriate link "click to join the session now via mobile device."

C. If you are accessing the link via text message on your smart phone, simply click the attached link.

4. Clicking on the link will instantly connect us via secure network to allow for the online video session to begin. Your computer may show a message asking to allow the program to access your microphone and camera.

Are You Ready For Online Counseling?

Do you have a laptop, desktop PC or Mac which is 3 years old or newer?
Older devices may struggle to run the program properly.
Is your space equipped with a modern internet connection that is reliable?
Connecting directly to your router using an Ethernet cable for wired internet is recommended though wireless networks can work fine as well.
Have you downloaded Chrome or Firefox to your computer to use as your internet browser?
Standard browsers such as Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Safari on a Mac may encounter compatibility issues with the video software as those browsers are not as up to date with modern code.
Do you have access to a working webcam?
Most modern laptops have built in webcams which will work great for online counseling! If you have a desktop PC or Mac you may need to purchase and set up an external webcam.
Are you comfortable navigating computer software?
The online portal is easy to navigate and does not require any training to use. However, those who find computers to be confusing or frustrating in general may not be a good fit for online counseling.

To My Valued Clients: With the growing concern regarding the spread of COVID-19 (Corona Virus), its important to address the need for all of us to take the necessary precautions to keep ourselves, our families, and are community safe. Outlined below are the steps I will be taking to ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of my clients. - There will be a constant monitoring of and compliance with the recommendations of governmental health agencies, such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as, local health organizations. - There will be continued compliance with best practices regarding the disinfecting of common areas, encouragement to all staff and clients to remain home if they are sick or symptomatic, maintenance of diligent hygiene, and social distancing. As a community, it is important that we continue to work together hold ourselves accountable to maintain best practice regarding the prevention of the spread of the virus by compliance with the following guidelines set by the CDC (Such as frequent washing of hands for a minimum of 20 sec. with soap, use of alcohol based hand sanitizer, avoidance of touching the eyes, nose and face with the hands, avoiding close contact with those who are sick or symptomatic, the frequent sanitation of common areas and frequently used objects, and staying home when sick or symptomatic) Working together we can find a way to cope and manage through this difficult and uncertain time.
